Hubby painting the trellis for me, that surrounds the bonsai garden

and I've been cleaning the gravel in places where the blackbirds persist in 'scrapping' soil everywhere

It would be nice to see Henk from the front sometime.

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.

Now, where are those tablets?

Thank you Nige, my bush peaonies are also just in bud, but this one above is a 'tree-type' peaony called 'Reine Elizabeth'.

Sorry Don, but Henk doesn't like his photo taken, I'll try to catch him unaware

Thanks Penny, any news on the 'camera-front' yet?

Hi Roy,

That is Acer Atropurpureum Dissectum. This is a photo of it taken 4 years ago. It got too big for that spot, and I daren't move it, in case I loose it, so no other option but to take saw and secateurs to it . In it's earlier years I had wired it.

It's just beginning to shoot leaves again, when in full leaf I'll take another photograph and post same.
