Hello

I used the new camera on a visit to my sister in Devizes today. It was an overcast day so no "sunny" shots, but I'm pleased with the colour reproduction of the Canon, it appears natural.

Very enjoyable Penny.  Lots of interest and detail.  I love the narrow back alley shots in particular. Nice weapon to have in your armoury. (The camera I mean).

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.

Now, where are those tablets?

Thanks, Don. The Alley is know locally as "Fifteenth Century Alley".

What a delightful place Penny, I also love the little alleys, the quaint shops and buildings and the quality of the photos is 'top-notch' Penny, I bet you're pleased with your new toy - don't think we shall do much digging this weekend, soil is tooooooooo wet and atm drizzling, heavy rain is forecast for this afternoon and hubby has to play bowls, so he is not a happy bunny

Oh dear, Kath. It would rain for the bowls match! I'm listening to cricket - luckily that's not rained off, yet, today.

I'm pleased you enjoyed the photos. Friends went to the hat shop in the alley yesterday to hire hats for a daughter's wedding. A lovely little shop for such a business.

I'm pleased with the camera. I managed to get a charger and batteries in Curry's in Devizes, so I'm all set now to snap away happily.

Hope your soil dries soon to enable you to dig it. Mine is clay but it's dry, even with the rain we've had. It's an overcast day today, but no rain yet.
