You caught me out this time Don

Lovely effect at night Jim, can you keep the photo size down to a maximum size of 500 pixels width please, otherwise it distorts the page, thank you

Oh, ok will do - can't see any problem from here, but perhaps I'm running at a higher resolution than you, which might accomodate bigger pictures without distortion

EDIT: actually, on this page (without pictures), the forum only actually occupies 3/5s of the screen, the rest being taken up by a wide green margin, so I'm guessing that's why I didn't notice the stretching caused by my photos - it still all fits comfortably on my screen

The photos fit all right on my screen, too, with a little green margin left.

Hello all, and sorry for the long absence from the forum - my broadband's been out of action for the last month!

Just thought Kath might like to see this species gladiolus - G. papilio, which I think is very reminiscent of Allium bulgaricum, as shown on the previous page of this thread. The flowers are bigger (4-5cm), though, and held more upright, so are more easily appreciated than the Allium, which is really only special when you get up really close to it....

Just beautiful Jim, thanks for sharing with us. How annoying that your broadband has been 'down', glad you're with us again now
