Not hardy, so had to be dug up and pruned hard back. With a small saw I managed to separate this plant into 5 pieces, each piece having a little root on the remaining stem.

Now tucked up in the greenhouse for the winter months

This one, a seedling of 'Lottie Hobby' is hardy so can stay outside, also still producing flowers, reminds me of a baby Christmas tree

Yes, it's amazing how late new blooms are appearing outside. At this rate my geraniums are still going to be producing for Christmas.

We've actually had two comparatively dry days. The new roses and fruit bushes are planted but there's still plenty of clearing up to do which will be followed by the twice yearly top dressing of 4" of composted animal bedding. This is all the fertilization that seems to be required out in the open ground. My tender Fuchsias are sheltered in the cold greenhouse now. Due to my predilection for bonsai, my planting medium is much more granular than your's.
