| Hi I wonder why it is that everyone these days seems to be 'on the make' Maybe I am getting old but it never used to be that way.

Oh Keith!! Go on!! There were always people on the make, in every age, and at the same time there were always loads of decent people who weren't. Human nature doesn't change. SJ

It seems to me that the owner of BH is making money out of the expertise and goodwill of people who are only too happy to share their knowledge freely, without monetary gain. If you are happy to go on lining his pocket, there is nothing to stop you. If you want to share your love and knowledge of bonsai, and other aspects of gardening, etc., there are other sites (this one included) where this can be done.
I'm only too grateful for advice freely and willingly given.
