Could do with some rain. It is clouding over but the wind is blowing the clouds along before they empty themselves. I did some hoeing in the veg garden, went into town for more wool and then bought two more little plants and added them to the alpine bed - "Silene acaulis" and "Delosperma cooperi". I'm watering them uintil they establish, as it says on the label, then they shouldn't need much attention.

Yes, a hanging basket would be very good, especially for the trailing varieties.

RE: Sedum and Semprevivum Planted today

Good morning Penny very nice enjoyed seeing what you planted .

Once they get bigger going to look impressive.

I have a small area with Sedum and Semprevivum in a container and other container had been growing for yrs and last yr crock pot cracked with hard frost and plants got damaged.

These would look nice in a hanging pot as well maybe.

Enjoy your day hope its not to wet :)

Sedum and Semprevivum Planted today

I have a piece of dry ground in the back garden which was once partly covered in gravel, which has worked its way into the soil, so I thought I'd try growing sedum and semprevium on it. I added sand and grit and here they are:

http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/slideshow/574409923OacgfI

Bye,
Penny.
