I believe hot, sweet tea is meant to be good for shock, or possibly a seditive in extreme cases... :P

.... of course, if we're talking about [i]scarring[/i] on trees, then there's not much you can do except try to make a feature out of an eyesore.

You will be able to tidy up those chop sites with your concave pruners when you get them Jinny. The wound sealant can be applied after that. We do deliberately leave small stubs after pruning sometimes to allow for die-back. They are removed later.

Hello can anything be done for scaring on trees(fukien tea) got some wound sealent and thought i'd do the tree...anyway came across top of the tree just chopped off and nothing put on( i think) and load of (the only word i can think of)knots on the trunk.

i think whoever did this shoud change thier profession
