I only have two fuschias, along with some cuttings in a pot, so I'll enjoy the flowers for a little longer. Good luck with all yours.

:)

A question from Tuppence

"My couple of little fuschias still have flowers. Shall I prune them to a main stem now or wait until the flowers finish?"

I have started to prune mine back and repot ready to go into the greenhouse for the winter months. My main reason for starting this work now is because I have so many to do :)

By all means Penny enjoy the last few weeks of the flowers. As a general and easy rule when the leaves start to 'yellow' that is quite early enough to prune and repot. Leaving them outside in a shady spot after doing this, also helps them to come back into growth, this is aided by the early morning dews and and cooler weather.
