Yeah its a nice place.However as they buy in there trees.sometimes they can look alittle un cared for.and the prices are somewhat high.

That little pine i posted a pic of on here.Was from there,They wanted £250 for that :):D

But i got it for around £90.Since you went there they have a Yamadori section and a low price bit.ie all the trees they cant sell.;)

I only really go there as the lady that used to sell bonsai near me,no longer does.

I spent a whole day at the bonsai centre at Mawgan about 7 years ago, I was down that way visiting the Eden Project and Rosemoor with our local Garden Club.

It's well worth a visit, I'd never seen so many bonsai pots in one place before and the 'natural wood' garden is amazing too, plus of course beautiful bonsai trees.

There's a lovely little pub just outside the main gate that makes the BIGGEST prawn sandwiches you have ever seen :D:D:D:D

:) It will be interesting for my friend to go round the place she grew up in.

I believe the coach tour operater runs a tour of the city for us. Good to see new places, I think.

Plymouth is just like any other city,the only place worth seeing is the Museum the National Marine Aquarium and the Barbican.

Oh and you got to visit the bonsai nursery down at st Mawgan.its not to far from plymouth.sometimes they have some amazing trees.

and you can knock them down on prices.

Thanks for letting us know where you are. :) I've never visited Plymouth and, by coincidence, am about to book a day trip there as the friend I'll travel with on the coach was born and lived there until her teens.

Afew pics from last year,Only pics on the pc atm.Got perhaps way to many trees.

3 stands of trees etc.and one bench for elms that i got when i first started,ie garden centre trees etc.

did alittle repotting afew weeks back took me about 4 days.:D:D
