When I see some weeds out of my backyard. I immediately pulled them off. They are like parasite that stealing away foods for my pure flowers.

This is a good idea, because people usually like to be clean of weeds.

I just recently went through my gardens weeding. I kind of like the natural look of weeds amongst the garden plants. As long as they aren't killing my plants, I don't mind them. Some of them have nice flowering tops. The only weeds I don't like are the prickly ones that have thorns that cut your hands when harvesting your garden.

This is really beautiful information.Here are mine:
There are three types of lawn weeds:
1. Broadleaf weeds: encompass every other type of weed including chickweed, dandelion and clover
2. Grassy weeds: invasive, fast-growing grasses like Crabgrass and goosegrass
3. Grass-like weeds: weeds with upright growth and narrow leaf blades like sedges and wild onion.

My late neighbour gardened under the impression that anything that wasn't a rose was a weed.:P

Personally I think a lot of 'weeds' are far more attractive than cultivated plants campion and corncockle for example:)

Yes, I quite agree, nige! :) I like the storks-bill sort that grow wild in the fields, too.

The definition of a weed is 'a plant that grows where you don't want it to', so if you want the herb robert there it can't be considered as a weed.:)

It is pretty, Kath. And, yes, it's saving grace is that it does uproot easily. Thanks for the photo. :)

Ah yes Penny, Herb Robert, being as it's from the Geranium family it loves dry 'nooks and crannies' in my garden, especially on the raised scree garden and even grows out from underneath large standing pots on the paths and patios, but easy to control, pulls out easily enough :)

Pleased you liked the site, Kath. My neighbour's garden suffers from mares' tails, but her chickens like them! I don't get many of them. I do have ground elder, though, in the front garden, which is a real pain. I also get a lot of herb robert, but allow some as I like the little pink flowers.

Yes, smithy, it is interesting what plants people will tolerate, that others won't. I have hemp agrimony (picked from the canal bank) in the front garden - it makes an imposing plant.

Its funny what is counted as a weed . In one garden i can be weeding out what is treasured in another garden. Forget me nots are a problem to one of my clients and are all destroyed . Lily of the valley is a problem to another client where as others would love it.

Very useful info, apart from Chickweed and Commom Bitter Cress I don't really get invasive weeds. I do feel sorry for people who have problems with Marestail or Ground Elder, that must be a nightmare.
