They do best outside all the time Jinny but it depends where it has been kept recently as to whether to introduce it to the elements gradually.  Perhaps you should bring it in to a cool room overnight and back out during the day for a week or two.

Hello Don

To be honest i don't know wheres its been kept...got it online all i know it's healthy(well seems to be to me)...since i got it i've seen a little new growth on top...was snowing here and windy yesterday...i know with looking about on sites a lot of people say they can be indoor or outdoor...but a lot of people say they should be outdoors( i understand why)...seems to be doing ok out there...took it out of the strong wind but it's still getting all day natural light..can i just protect the roots in the pot somehow??

Just been back to the website....hardy in out climate but needs protection against drying cold winds
