Hello Penny

It's been quite a nice day here...looked like it was going to rain this morning but it didn't nice and sunny this afternoon(so got my wellinton boots on and had an hour in the garden)..

The starter trees i'm undecided what to do at the moment...i know them going in the garden will be best thing for them...but the work we are having done in a couple of months...don't think it will be safe (new drive way...skips) think it will be ok to put them in big pots and after the work is done then into the garden

Hello Jinny.

I can't see a problem with putting them into pots before you are able to put them in the garden. You could just pot them on into the next size pot to the ones they're in now as you intend to remove them, eventually.

A pleasant day here after a cold start. Bird's water frozen again. I stripped a few leaves from the bottom of the trident maple's trunk. Saw an apple today covered in beautiful pink and white blossom.

Hello

i love spring all the buds coming out on the trees...lots of apple blossems where i live...tells me the warmer weather is around the corner....i hope .

The weather don't look to clever here today...feel like i don't want to step a foot outside...and with the little girl being full of a cold and very clingy...not had much sleep for the past 2 nights

i'll do that with the starters and put them on the balconey...thats where most of the sun is(when we get it)...and when we get lots of wind...theres a little corner thats protected
