hi all, i have searched the site for an answer to my question, which i'm sure is there somewhere, but i cant find it. so here goes, what do you wrap the branches of your trees with to protect the bark when using strong wire etc.

| The traditional method is to use raffia that has been soaked in water, the idea being that as the raffia dries it shrinks so that the branches don't snap when bending them. An alternative to this is to use something like electricians tape applied with the sticky surface facing outwards so that it doesn't stick to the bark, then applying a second layer with the sticky side the other way round. Hope this helps Roy
