Hi all, does anyone know what kind of fungi this is, is it rare as I have never seen one like this before.

We have some gowing in our lawn, which we cant cut at the moment due to all the rain we have had, perhaps the reason for the fungi?

It's impossible to tell, given the degree of decomposition - perhaps that's why you haven't seen the type before

Ooooooooooooooooh that looks scary Roy, no I don't recognise that one. Since the heavy rains, many small toadstools have appeared on our front lawn. I'm picking them off individually and putting them in the dustbin, trying to avoid 'fairy rings' at a later date
