We've enjoyed Colchester, and BFS Eastern Region at Tiptree and this weekend was at Clacton-on-Sea. Really TOO hot for fuchsias, but they all survived and what a great Show it was too, not only a show for competitors but also a great social event between 'Fuchsia Folk', many only getting together once a year at these type of shows. I didn't compete in the Bonsai Class this time, but did do a Fuchsia Bonsai Display for the Society and for others to see and enjoy :-)

| Always a delight to see Kath. I'm sweating on a dry Saturday for Emley this weekend. I haven't been to the new showground yet. Have invested in a new trailer so will be able to take lots of trees. Looking forward, like you, to renewing old acquaintances. My hay hasn't been cut yet. It's on the west side of the Pennines where it always gets more rain at this time of the year. It hasn't received more than one dry day at a time, would you believe? I'm down to the last six bales.
My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

| Sorry to hear about the hay situation Don, if I look at the BBC weather chart it's still not good news for you, and having to buy hay must be very expensive. Fingers crossed for you at Emley this coming weekend, enjoy
