We thank you very much for the fornula Kath. We have all the makings to hand and will throw them together directly. YUMMEEE!

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

Sounds good, Don. I want to Christen my new jam-making pan (a "Maslin") and will use Kath's recipe when I get the ingredients together.

Made it. Forgot the muslin bag. WHOOPS!

PS  Just had some on a cheese sarnie for supper.  The slight hint of curry is scrumptious.

I'm making the chutney now. Not sure how much garlic you mean, though, Kath. A whole head or just one little clove?

One clove Penny, if small I would pop two into the mix

Thanks, Kath. That's what I did, eventually. It's made and in its jars. It looks delicious. I think it's better for sitting for three or four weeks, so I'm leaving it alone.......if I'm not tempted before then.

I took photos of it prepared, part cooked and finished and will put them on Webshots.

Hope you had a pleasant weekend. We had sunny weather with no rain in sight. I'm back to watering vegetable beds with the hose.
