It certainly is nice to have a new skill, Don.

You are very welcome to my efforts. I don't know how I missed the question in your post - silly me!

I'm still having trouble with a lot of the clues - will have to get a list of Latin names from the internet.

In response to the avalanche of enthusiasm I'm not doing any more unless asked. Is there something else that you would like better? I'm pliable.

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

I don't know which puzzle you are talking about Kath.  Do you need print-outs of the answers?

Kath. There are two puzzles on page one. As you have problems with 3down I'll answer both of those.  I've still got problems with printing out the grids.  E SEAM A QUOIT unscrambles to METASEQUOIA and FRESH C LEAF  becomes SCHEFFLERA.

Nah nah na nah nah.

SCHEFFLERA was the one I didn't know, now why didn't I think of that, thank you Don

Able to get out in the greenhouse this morning, still 'potting-down' fuchsias for the winter. Very blustery outside, wind is very chilly. Just had homemade chicken and fresh veggie soup with garlic bread, burrrrrp , that will keep the cold out.

I haven't seen any home made chickens on offer around here.

Our weather is atroceous.  I just had to tog out in snorkel and flippers to go and get my hair cut.  I had intended to go in my electric buggy but it would have been washed away. Where's the Brandy?

It's very wet here, too. Hope your water craft was water-tight.
