from purchase to where it is now. this tree was bought from beachwood bonsai in July 2003. last week i decided to further reduce the 3" dia trunk in height.

this is the best i could come up with to give the top a burnt shari look

You're getting a feeling for future possibilities in the shohin sizes Roy.  You mentioned to me the ratio of six times the trunk diameter to height and are following your vision through. More power to your elbow but don't neglect the Koi.

Hi Don, yes i am following on with my vision of the 6 x the dai ratio as I have been wanting to reduce the height of several trees for some time & over the last two weeks i just bit the bullet.

Now what did i do with those koi??
