I just got back from an enjoyable day with the bonsai traders association show and I've still got a few coppers left in my pocket.

I thought that you might like to see the pine that Kevin worked on for a demo. Sorry about the background but it was in the middle of the hall. I wasn't too sure about that bottom right hand branch. Does anyone else dare to criticize Mr Willson?

I'm not putting any more photographs of the event here because I couldn't improve on the shots of the exhibits over those that Keith put on his Fuchsia site.  See:-  http://www.westyorksfuchsia.talktalk.net/obs/

click and run the tour. You'll be interested in the Fuchsias as well.  Have your sound turned on.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share Keith's video with us Don, what a brilliant Show, some beautiful specimens.

Does anyone else dare to criticize Mr Willson?

Oh yes, dear Kevin, such a nice chap, sure he doesn't mind critisism . I assume that right hand branch is styled like that in respect of balance to the trunk, but personally I would have shortened it or removed it completely, but maybe we'll change our minds when we see it again in 10 years time

He saw me shading that branch out with my hand and just said "You see?"   Short but evocative observation.

I checked out the fuschia site but didn't see a link to photos. Perhaps I didn't look in the right section. I'll look again.

Keith's journey around Don Valley was taking up too much room on the Fuchsia site Penny but he found another hosting site for it. I'll try to look it up for you.    =Don.
