My seed potatoes have arrived, ordered from Alan Romans in November last year.

Varieties:

Celine
Colleen
Hermes and
Red Duke of York

I'll be able to start planting the early ones at the end of February/beginning of March. Looking forward to delicious spuds.

Great varieties Penny, and now hopefully it won't be too long before we have better weather conditions to dry the soil a bit for planting

Yes, roll on warm soil. I suppose I could cover some of the soil with plastic to help it warm up.

Hello gardenplanter. My potatoes are dug and stored in a sack in the pantry. Only a few left in the ground now. It's wet again, so they'll wait a while.

Potatoes are one of the most popular vegetables because they are nutritious, easy to prepare, and very versatile.Potatoes are nutrient-dense, meaning you receive many nutrients for the amount of calories they have. The fiber is half soluble, half insoluble, so it helps to keep you regular and helps to lower cholesterol.

How about that... it took a while, and I've been away as well, but it's great to see this idea get some attention.
