I suppose we should live in the hope of some severe frosts this winter to clobber the mites, the fungus gnats and the blue tongue midges.

Does it do anything to avian flu?

The hopes that I expressed above seem to be happening.  The frosts have been very keen this week and no midges will have survived. I hope that the fuchsia mites have been clobbered too.

That's good to hear Don, we've had -4c for one night, so fingers crossed for some more frost
