Believe it or not Roy.  My modest olive stays out in whatever comes.  Maybe there are variations in type but its withstood -4C several times and -6C once.

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

You seem to have a substantial trunk in there Roy.  Its difficult to see the leaves.  I suppose that there's no doubt about it being an olive.

Healthy looking material Roy.  Have you got a design in mind yet?

Hi Don, i dont have a design in mind yet as i cant bring myself to reduce it yet with it looking so nice as it is. All thoughts & suggestions welcome regarding reduction into Bonsai style.

BTW the lable on the tree reads Olea Europaea.
