It has been said, not to mention sung many times; THERE ARE MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS.   After talking to people about bonsai for a few years I have realised that the reverse is often the case because there are differing answers from different people to the same question. I'll therefore pinch another line from the song; THE MORE I LEARN THE LESS I KNOW.

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

Well said Don

I find this especially so when going to meetings, be it by fuchsia or bonsai socieities and listening to different speakers talking on the same subject, most confusing for beginners.

For instance: soils/composts. We, I'm sure have all tried different mixes and methods, I always say, "If your own system works for you, STICK WITH IT

How right you are! Everyone has an answer. The secret is deciding which one is the correct one.

Is this the place to ask about using the board?

I tried to edit a post and was able to preview it but couldn't get the change to save and re-post.

Also, is it possible to opt for email notification of replies to topics?

And is it possible to find "My Posts".

Perhaps some of these features aren't available.

Thanks.

Ah yes Keith ,

Husband left home this morning at 07.30, he's playing indoor bowls at Harlow today, so spoilt him and got his breakfast ready
