I planted Mizuna seedlings, bought from the garden centre, the other day - not grown it before. I also put in, somewhat late, seeds of a Chinese cabbage, "Pe Tsai", and perpetual spinach. I've covered them with fleece and hope they'll germinate.

Hello Kath.
Yes, you can use it raw, or cook it. I like to steam my vegetables.
Hope you're all right today and able to enjoy good weather. Wish it would rain, though. I've just watered the vegetables. I see I have pattie-pan squashes, at last - later than my neighbour's. I'm in charge of the chickens this week as they're having a break with a relative in Hebden Bridge.
