Mildly good news.
Our son managed to bring us some food in although he had to walk the final leg.
I tottered down our drive today to see one set of tire tracks going down. A neighbour must have ventured out. Needless to say there were no tracks coming back.

My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

You seem to have been 'marooned' for an awful long time Don, so glad your son managed to visit and bring you the essentials. Let's hope it soon starts to thaw for you.

Our main roads are clear into the village now, but our street is very dangerous for pedestrians, ice underneath deep slush on road and pavements., where has the common sense gone to, not allowed to clean the bit of public path outside of one's residence, poohey, we did it anyway

Hope none of you are still "marooned". The snow has gone here, thank goodness. It's so much easier to get around. We are due for more but the forecast is for it to be a lighter fall and one that won't last long - let's hope so.

Yes Penny, all gone away from here as well, a couple of days of rain did the trick.

Lovely bright day here yesterday, so nice to see a bit of sun, but this morning very foggy, but cleared away by the early afternoon

Wet here, too, Kath, for the past couple of days. Sweeties didn't like getting her feet wet and was glad to be home, after walkies. We did have sleet this morning, which left quite a large deposits on some car windowscreens.
