| this forsythia was on its way to the garden fire, i gave up on it but had a change of mind & struggled with it for many hours. this spring i will refine the branches after its flowered (if it does?) & move it into a bonsai pot. updates to follow.

I see a frog in the carved part of the fourth picture.
I did use Forsythia for a few but have none at home. They went to my Son's and Daughter's homes a few years ago. They worked reasonably well and are alive and continuing to flower in season.

My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

| i see what you mean regrding the frog. I must say this tree has given me the chance to practice carving & offers a lot more for experimenting with its apperance. i'm also amazed that it survived, so it has encouraged me to carry on trying to save trees bound for the garden fire.
