Hello.
This is "Sweetie", my new little dog. She's three years old and is a cross between a Chinese Crested (Powder-Puff variety, not the hairless ones) and a poodle. She has a lovely temperament and has fitted right in with the other dogs. She and Cecil said "aaaagh" when they first came nose to nose but are fine now. She has yet to meet the three whippets, who come to stay at the end of the month. I think it will be more of a surprise for them than her.
She was taken from the local RSPCA home, along with a related Chinese Crested, by a dog groomer who wanted to take them both out in the big van each day, but she was very sick and didn't enjoy being in the vehicle. I happened to go to a friend's house for coffee on New Year's Day, heard about her sickness and was asked for advice. She was brought round to the house and I ended up taking her home with me.  I didn't know about her before going for coffee, so went with one dog and came home with two.

Wonderful story Penny, now who could resist her ????? not me either she really looks as if she's settled in nicely, especially where she's laying so snuggly next to Cecil.

Hello Kath.
I'm pleased you enjoyed "meeting" "Sweetie". I'm just ordering her a "jump-suit" that zips along the back and which will cover her legs in the wet weather. She's on my lap now which her head on my arm while I type.
