Flowers on the little trees have been most prolific this time. I think they must feel threatened by the winter weather and are attempting to propagate. The Almond and Cherry blossom is over now but I have Crab apple, Berberis, Potentilla, Wisteria and both colours of Hawthorne out at the moment. Satsuki has just popped the first three blooms and there's even a first flower on the Escallonia.
Has it been the same for everyone?

Yes Don, the flowering trees seem 'to be doing it' earlier than previous years, this was my Hawthorn 2 weeks ago

the Styrax is also beginning to open and doesn't usually do this until the end of May

The one with double pink flowers is called Crateagus oxyacantha Paul's scarlet Roy. The leaves are a bit larger than it's white relative C. monogyna. They're both Hawthorne.
Blackthorne is commonly called sloe (Prunus spinosa). It also has white flowers but is a different specie.

A close-up of the little double flowers Roy, reminds me of minature roses

Thanks for the specific variety Don, I knew it was a Crateagus but didn't know which variety
