Small flowers seem to keep the bonsai look whereas larger flowers make our trees look like house decorations. You've hit a nice note with that one Kath. Many more on the way, I'm sure.

Thank you Roy, this one had been part of a bush in the garden for it's first 10 years of life, 1986 to 1996 then I dug the whole bush up, cut off all the old tap roots, divided the bush, and put the thickest stem into a 3 liter pot for a year to encourage new roots and new growth on the old stem, which of course is now the trunk
