Hello

This is the verbascum that's seeded itself on the edge of the front garden. Hope that it survives passers by and that they don't damage its flower spike when it appears.

It's a whopping plant.

I had some years ago Penny, growing next to a sunny wall which of course encouraged them to grow taller than normal, they grew nearly 20ft high .

My goodness, Kath! Didn't know they aspired to those heights. The spike is forming and I'm looking forward to its flowering. The second one that seeded at the base of the lampost on the pavement was stood on and damaged but it's growing again.

The sunflower seeds I planted in the greenhouse are germinating.

The Sunflowers can get quite big as well Penny. Another quick grower that I have is the Teazle. I can almost hear them shooting upwards.

Hello Don. I bet you can hear the rustling of the teazles as they grow!

I'm hoping these will be tall sunflowers as they're for the grand-daughter of a friend. There were only mini ones at the garden centre, that's why I'm growing them.

A sunny morning. The roses are running riot. Getting ready for church.

Bye
