Mummy and Daddy were both workiing in the office yesterday, so Asha and Emmy came to visit. First crafting together, then to the local promenade playing on swings etc and of course a big ice-cream whilst sitting on the sea wall. Later pasta with spicy chicken and assorted veggies followed by trifle, how lovely to be able to sit outside again. A good day was had by all

A lovely moment to hold on to. Unfortunately, I'm sitting here in the middle of the worst hail-storm that I can remember. More is forecast for tomorrow when we should really be engaged in the traditional egg hunt. Ah well!

My name is Don and I'm a bonsaiholic.
My imaginary friend Givitago takes over when I'm not sure of myself in print. He's not a complete fool - several bits are missing.

Hope it stays dry for your 'egg run' today Don, a little cooler here so far, perhaps the pots won't dry out so quickly today

Lovely to see you and the grandchildren, Kath. I bet they really enjoyed being with their granny.

Hope you keep well. Do you need rain as much as we do? The roses are very happy at present, though, as they've not had wet weather to become mildewed.

Hi Penny,

Lovely to hear from you, oh yes indeed we do need rain so badly, 8 miles away (as the crow flies), a smal village called St. Osyth is the driest area in the UK, so as you can appreciate we ARE SO DRY HERE, watering, watering and more watering by hand, nevermind, we live in hope for a shower or two , weather forecast keeps promising but nothing than a few spots occassionaly yet.

Lots of flowers seem to be flowering early, expect that is due to extra warmth these past few weeks, just finished watering again, trying to keep things going, take care - Kath

ps. How is your project going in the communial gardens?
